LouLou41, I work for Armitage Shanks!
Can you tell me what model of cistern you have? maybe I can help? :o
I just read through this thread whilst looking for something totally different. YOu mention that you were going to call Armitage Shanks but not what was said.

It is a Sandringham bathroom suite by Armitage Shanks. You said you work for Armitage Shanks, do you know whether there has been any complaint regarding this particular model?CS have been very helpful and have sent various replacements for the cistern. I will follow 27col advice when I called the dyno plumber again, but will have to wait when hubby is away in Dec, his is an OAP and does not like hassle. If this fails, will follow moneysavingplumber and get a registered plumber from the link he provided. Will have to do it without hubby knowiong. That will be the last resort as they do not come cheap. Most probably the whole unit will need to be taken out and fitted again. Lastly, we could just leave a container at the back of the toilet to catch the drip. I have got tileloc in the bathroom, therefore no damage will be done to the floor.I have put some condensation strip at the back and there is hardly anything but since I know it is there, it is annoying. Sorry guys if I am boring you. Thanks again for all your advice.

Hi LouLou, I actually work for customer care at Armitage shanks ;) There is not a known problem with this suite.
I am a little bit confused as you say that your cistern has bolts going through the cistern? Did I read that correctly?
If so, you cannot have the sandringham loo because this range doesn't have bolts that go through the bottom of the cistern. It has a metal plate which screws slot into and then go into the toilet pan.
If you would like to PM me your address I will look into what has been sent to you to try to sort this. Maybe that will help me to understand the problem. Its definately not right that you have had this problem for so long! I personally, from experience dont rate plumbers from companies such as dynorod but this is just my personal view. I'll help you in any way I can. :D
