There's a knitting/sewing shop near me that has a poster in the window asking for donations for this purpose, not sure off the top of my head whether it is for a group or an individual knitting.Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

My son was 3lbs 5 oz born and we bought 3 cardigans for 50p each that some lovely lady like you had knitted. He wore these and babygrows for 2/3 months afterwards.

LORNE i use 3ply,4ply and baby soft d.k for clothes,mitts,hats+all other body clothes and d.k mainly for little premmy blankets
rsdiscos it is very hard to get+often far two expensive as it is like my size 8 shoes not the average so the prices rocket my kids are nearly teens+after being so short of cash ( the struggling years ) as i called them 13+1/2 months between my too it was bad enough but these babies need clothes and prems was my target i dont charge at all,it fills the spare time i have+a damned good cause
MWL any colour 3ply,4ply and thin baby soft D.K for clothes, any D.K for blankets if there is anything i can do in return i will help out but many thanks everyone kez xx0 -
Keep up the good work drifter34, I work as a neonatal nursery nurse on a SCBU and we really appreciate all the hand knitted stuff for the babies. They look so adorable in hand knitted things.

If you look on the Moneysaving OS forum there are a bunch of us who knit also for causes like this...at the mo we are doing premmie hats for Save the Children and www.lovinghands.org.uk may be of help i'm sure they donate wool, needles etc etc

wouldnt imagine you would need that much wool,my son was premi,he was 4 weeks early weighed 3lb 13 oz and couldnt even fit into dolls clothes until he was about 2 weeks oldLive in my shoes for a week,then tell me your lifes hard!0
