Okay, when i got my licence for the first two years if I got 6 points i would lose my licence.
So does this mean, he passes his test (eventually), gets his licence then instantly loses it as his 6 points kick in?
Yes. Sadly because of the type of offence, he's likely to find insurance ridiculously expensive so probably won't bother with that.0 -

No, he would get a licence, but if he got 1 point at any time in the next two years he gets his license revoked.0 -
My brother was caught doing 90mph on the motorway recently, he's got a provisional but it is expired.
Is he looking at a jail sentance?
I think there's more to this... provisionals don't expire do they? Unless you're in the Republic of Ireland where they do expire, and if you were on your second provisional you were allowed to drive on your own! This rule was tightened up at the end of last year.0 -
