I usually just keep one debit card and one credit card in my wallet along with a clubcard and nectar card plus a small amount of cash. You never know, you could lose it or have it nicked.
My other cards are kept safely at home. For holidays I bring two wallets with various cards making sure to leave one safe.0 -
Both actually.
Might be useful for people who never travel or use their card abroad as would dramatically reduce the chance of foreign card or ATM fraud.
For example, I never used my Halifax debit 'card from hell' abroad and would have been happy for it to be UK only.billbennett wrote: »I assume you like it for its' unusualness, rather than for its' actual meaning? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. As a student who would like an AmEx card, may I ask how you got one? (I only have the student MasterCard that came with my student bank account.)0 -
Childs is alright, nothing too special about them. You do get a own personal adviser but other than that nothing else.
Its a supplementary card, decided to get one mainly for the travel insurance and membership points. Btw you've got to buy everything with that card for it to be insurance!0 -
This'll be interesting - my purse could do with a sort out! Ok here goes:
x2 Smile debit cards
Natwest credit card
Tesco club card credit card (which I'm not using so should probably get rid of)
Nectar, Shell, Boots and Tesco loyalty cards
CIPS membership card
Driving licence
Hampshire libraries card
Ikea family card
A couple of money off nectar, Tesco and boots vouchers
Business card for the local reptile shop
Dr Who edition stamps
Ooooh, an M&S voucher card I'd forgotten about (result!)
About £4 in change
Soon to be included - NUS card as I've just found out CIPS students can have them even if working full timeI don't like chick flicks, I get grazed knuckles doing my own car repairs and I ride a massive cruiser motorbike. To many this makes me a bloke in disguise but to my husband this makes me perfect

Yeah, full current account, it's actually the RBS Select account.
There is only one branch, 1 Fleet Street, London, but you can open online (RBS.co.uk) and when it asks which branch you want to open it at, select C&C.0 -

Nope, you get a gold debit card and fancy cheque book, and all your correspondence comes from RBS private banking, but that's about it.
I assume you could use the services of the private banker if you wished, but I've never had any need to contact them or even visit the branch!0
