I bought this camera and it is going back.... horrible photos. Too grainy.

  • I bought this camera yesterday and it seems very good to me. If anybody has any questions then give me a shout, I'll get some photos up later.

The only downside I've found so far is that it's £20 for a real spare battery!! Was originally going to get a Samsung camera for £20 more which takes AA's, but doesn't look anywhere near as nice and is a LOT more bulkier.

[EDIT] Ok - the outside potos are beautiful, the one inside with lights on AND flash look very grainey, what do you think Asda's return policy would be ok the camera?

    Yes that is the one,

and other sites give it worse reviews
  • If you're looking for a new camera I'd recommend checking out www.dpreview.com as they have good reviews along with sample galleries with examples of different scenes taken using the camera.

I used it along with the camera finder on flickr - www.flickr.com/cameras when I was looking for a new digital camera (though on flickr its also down to a person's ability as its a social site) but it helped give me an idea of how different models coped in a variety of situations, or if the camera produced grainy shots.

Just thought I'd say, as I thought it might help if any mser's are looking for a new camera and don't want to be dissapointed once they get it out of the box and start taking photos.
