even if you havent got the receipt it is possible to get a replacment or creidt note - see the soga
speak to the manager ofd the store rather than the shop staff who have very minial training.
if you dont want to go back to the store then ring the manufactuer as you are still within the 12 months guarantee and get them to repair/ send a replacement to you.
