  • I would cut up into chunks and make jambalaya, I always use pork instead of chicken as I think it tastes better! :)

I just stick them in a poly bag and shake in a marinade mix, Chinese, BBQ, Hot and Spicy or whatever. Leave for an hour and then grill or put on the barbie.

You could cut them into chunks and do kebabs with chunks or peppers, onion and mushroom, soak in a marinade of lime juice, garlic powder a little paprika and a pinch of chilli.

Cut into chunks, coat in batter, fry and put in a sweet and sour sauce.

Could you do gravy and add the onions to it? Or as someone said to me add some mustard or something to the mash potato? Could you make potato patties instead of serving it as mash? Could you add the onion to the patties doing something a bit like bubble and squeak?

Does this link help at all?

Not oniony but I've chucked pork chops in the slow cooker with a good squeeze of BBQ sauce (not a marinade, just the condiment sort) and cooked on low for the day. Just cheapy chops that'd been frozen a while, and they literally fell apart on serving...mmm! I used the sauce left in the slow cooker as a BBQ 'gravy' over the mash and veg, delicious.

Would the chops roll up, you could fill with stuffing?

Quite a few "pork chop with onion" recipes on Google that are as simple as that, you could the pork chop with diced onion!

I think an onion gravy would work well though as another option.
  • Yesterday with our pork joint we cooked (near the end) eating apples cored and stuffed with home made stuffing (breadcrumbs, nuts, herbs (if you like), honey, seasoning and apple juice) it makes lovely stuffing plus basically apple sauce - yummy :) You could do that with some onion gravy.
