I though it was just one of mine that went mental for bleach, we just always put it down to her not being wired quite right.0

I work as a cleaner and often come home with the smell of bleach on my hands. 2 of my 5 cats go mad over it, chewing on my fingers and slobbering all over me  The other 3 arent bothered at allErrrr...come back later0

my mums cat used to be hell bent on cleaning my hair for me when I came back from swimming!0

it must be a cat thing, our cat goes mad when any of us have been swimming, she was even trying to eat little miss divadees hair recently after she had been swimming.
also bleach she loves, when i used to wash my floor with watered down bleach she used to come in and try and roll in it. i had to banish her to teh bedroom when washing floors!!0 -
Ahh, this thread reminds me of my dearly departed Tink, he used to chew on my hair after I'd been to the pool, and he also loved my mam's hands after she'd been bleaching the worktops, AND he loved Extra Strong Mints, would practically try to climb in your mouth with it and rolled around on his back looking all stoned!
I have two new cats now and they aren't nearly as mental or interesting - they don't even like catnip!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
another strange one for you - my cat goes nuts if I file my nails - insists on sticking her head in and licking all the bits from the nail file"When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes" - Erasmus0

I dunno, she seems to rule our lives sometimes - but then again, I wouldn't have it anyother way.
Dont worry my mums wont eat any of the packet stuff. It has to be the single tin stuff made by someone called solitaire?? Its about 50p a tin (1 - 2 tins a day) so mum spends quite a bit! I told her shes spoiling her, but litterally the cat just wont eat anything else!!
Our cat goes nuts for running water. Ive never seen a cat move so quickly when we turn the shower on. She doesnt go in, but loves to watch it. Im convinced she doesnt drink out of the water fountain, she just stares at it for hours and hours on end....Green and White Barmy Army!0 -

my beautiful tabby boy George, who is sadly no longer with me was mad on emery boards.I could never use one on myself as he would pull them out of my hands and would lick and chew them.Mind you I could clip his claws and he would sit there padding and purring while I filed away the rough bits,he used to get this look of ectasy in his eyes.He was such a good cat,I used to be able to clean his teeth everyday with no problem as well,I would just tap his toothbrush on the floor and he would happily come over for to get it done.I do miss him so.0 -
Don't worry bagpuss fan - I used to swim 6 days a week and my cat would sleep in my swimming bag and like my hand and arm after I had been swimming! She also used to roll around like she had been given catnip or similar. My other cat sleeps in my hair after I've been to the pool! Strange habit, but not uncommon methinks!Paying down the mortgage:

actually - just a thought re MrsTittleMouse above - my very elderly cat (21 in a week!) LOVES to brush her face against my hairbrush. she does it so hard that she lifts her front paws off the ground and goes mad when she sees it. It must hurt her, but she loves to brush her mouth and cheeks on it. Any ideas about that anyone??Paying down the mortgage:
