Loads of bad feedback coming????

I just left my first negative feedback (apart from a couple to NPBs). I'm sure I will get revenge feedback in a minute, but as a buyer it doesn't affect me really, but it certainly does damage the seller, which is what I want.
Nail. Hit. Head.
Moe people need to recognise this.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

well it won't matter soon.
It took the seller just over 4 hours to hit me back btw.
Hopefully it will reduce the price of the other items he sells when people realise he lies about the condition.0 -
I've been trying to find an answer on eBay but don't seem to be able to find anything.
I am trying to find out if any items sold before the 15th May are subject to the existing feedback rules and any listings finishing after the 15th May 2008 are subject to the new rules.
Can anyone tell me if this is correct?
Thanks.0 -

When the changes were originally announced the official line was that after a certain date (afaik May 15th isn't confirmed) sellers will only be able to leave a positive for a buyer. It won't matter when the items finished, I doubt they could do it any other way..0 -
Thanks. So basically someone could have bought an item from me in February, not bothered to leave feedback and then leave me a negative in a few weeks and there's nothing I can do about it.
I think it's really bad that there's no info on eBay (well at least there isn't anything that I can find easily). So far I have over 2,000 positives and no negatives and I would have liked it to stay that way.0 -
eBay have deliberately withheld the exact date and details to prevent the stock-piling effect, but one of the pinks on the eBay PS board did indicate that the change would be based on transaction date, rather than feedback date. Another change is that non-positive feedback can not be left within 3 days of the transaction date either.
The current "90 day rule" is also based on transaction date, with the new feedback window of opportunity being reduced to 60 days.
From a techy point of view, it would be quite simple to programme the change to remove the negative & postive options on any transaction after a given date.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

Thanks. I was wondering why I couldn't find it on eBay but then I suppose they don't want everyone have a mass clearout and then some stopping selling on the date of the new rules.0 -
