Was this simply amendment for the reduction to account for removal of the 10p rate?

If it was fo the 10p rate wasn't it suposed to go up not down, thinking its possibly the medical insurance price has changed but they usually send you an email to let you know I'll just have a quick ask tomorrow just to be on the safe side.

Apparently the reduction in my tax code was that the medical insurance had just gone up very unfair.

anyway in a very bad mood came home to find three parcels left outside my front door including one which was registered and needed to be signed for. I have rang Royal Mail to complain, but very very unhappy.

I hope your weekend is an improvement!

(sorry I got my tax code up/down and tax down/up confused - I obviously need a break)

On a good note have updated MS money again and my spreadsheets and it looks like I'm doing well on the savings front fingers crossed I may be able to beat my target. Think I'll be able to increase the mortgage payment by a small amount again and still reach my savings targets. This in the most I've had in savings for quite a long time I'd forgotten how much I enjoy saving.

I have been proactive and increased my Gas DD as of 1 November. I'm with Ebico for gas and they have just put their prices up, Have increased DD by £7 per month, hopefully this should be enough, just need to keep a close eye on our useage. Have checked comparison sites and they are still the cheapest for us for Gas.

Feeling extremely stressed at the moment after being out for the morning we nipped out to a friends house round the back of ours for a little while this afternoon (taking the dogs with us). as we walked home we noticed a woman standing in the middle of the round that backs onto our back garden, then as we rounded the corner to our house our alarm went off. We ran to the house but everything seemed secure, but feeling a bit paranoid especially hafter seeing the suspicious looking woman. Think I'm going to feel a be nervous about security for a while. Don't think we'll be going ut much next weekend just incase.

On another note haven't been very MFW this weekend as have bought lots of new bedding (but we did need it) and some warm items of clothing. I'm all geared up for the cold weather now and its suddenly been really warm today, but at least I managed to get some washing done and dried outside.

Final bill from Eon Finally recieved today still have £19 owing which they will take at the end of the month. Just glad to be rid of them never going to EON again, even if they do become the cheapest again.

Well, not more security alerts at home so feeling a little better. Have overspent this month, but needed warm clothing and bedding etc for the winter, but on the plus side we still haven't needed to switch the heating on as yet. Going to try and not spend any more money this month (except for food). Scottishpower still haven't set up on line access to my electricity account a month after switching and they don't seem to have set up a DD yet either I will give them a call in the next few days if I don't hear anything further from them.

I haven't changed my mortgage payments as yet as the 1% discount on my capped rate is due to expire shortly, but reading the rest of the forum it looks like BOE Base rate is going down 0.5% so here's hoping the Building society will reduce their rates slightly. Glad I went for the capped rate and not the fixed managed to pay a little bit more off the mortgage when insterest rates reduced at the beginning of the year.
