Well, we bought our tiles today completely different ones than we orginally picked. These ones are a lot better quality and were on offer so saved quite a bit. Managed to get a really nice towel radiator that had been reduced and bought most of the fitted accessories. Only a few more things left to buy and will have to pay for the tiling etc. unfortunately it means pulling more money out of the mortgage which I didn't really want to do, but hopefully it should only be temporary, as have been cutting down all other spending. Can't wait till its all done it will look lovely and it will be worth it in the end.

Well Bathroom is almost fiished, he's hopefully coming tomorrow night to do the last few niggly little bits and collect final payment. Bye Bye money.

On the money saving front have joined Funky Pigeon and ordered 3 Cards for free, just need a few referals so I can get some more cards.

No more spending for a while now, need to pay the moey back to the mortgage account.

Haven't updated here in ages, savings etc not going well at the moment due to few extra expenses for Engagement parties and weddings to go to on top of Holidays and birthdays and increased prices in the shops. Thinking of applying for a new credit card just for the offers, options are Amazon Card to get £10 voucher, the Maximiles Card for the post or the MBNA cashback card (£15 quidco), really can't decide.

Well its been a really long time since my last update yet again. I haven't been able to pay as much off mortgage and into savings as I'd hoped this year due to new bathroom and higher food bills etc. But have made some inroads into reducing household bills. I've managed to cut mobile phone bills down by £12.50 (which will be £150 over the next 12 months) and I have been told that my Water DD will be going down by £5 a month (£60 over 12 months). So will be using these savings to increase payments etc.
