So what are you planning to do with your windfall?
Looking forward to next years challenge of getting £5,100 in an ISA

I thought you could only put £3,600 in an ISA? *scratches head*

From Apr 2010 (Oct 2009 - for over 50's) the ISA allowance has gone up to 2010 (budget this week). Allowing £5100 in a cash ISA.

Well only 4 weeks and 5 days till Holiday, nothing big just a week at the seaside with the dogs. Its all paid for now and doubt we'll spend much while we're there. Order a Cobb BBQ to take with us hoping this will come before the end of the week. Going to use it for future holidays and for in the garden as well (apparently you can cook Pizza on it). Really need to start getting organised about what to take etc though and buy any extra stuff we may need (probably just lots of dog food). Still waiting on Natwest about the ISA (they seem to be taking ages).
Does MSE work ok on mobiles? so I can keep myself up todate while I'm away.

Well still trying to sort out my savings etc. Was told on friday by Natwest that my accounts are now open E-ISA and E-Saver, and have sent off my ISA Transfer forms (again), but have yet to recieve any details in the post regarding these accounts. Going to try and reduce the number of accounts that I have starting with closing my Nationwide account (don't really use it and don't see any benefit in having it anymore). I opened the ING account for the free £20 a few months ago trying to decide if I should close this or not interest rate not too bad but no faster payments. Was thinking of keeping it open in the hope of getting offered the reffer a friend bonuses. Plus a few other accounts that I'm not using much at the moment.

Previous years ISA's have finally reached natwest. Nationwide account is now closed and I have opened a Halifax reward account and have recieved my first £5. Saving will get depleated dramatically this month as have a few big things to pay for. Need a new washer, garden furniture and it looks like the lap top won't last much longer.

After having a week at the seaside our MFW plans have changed slightly, instead of selling up and moving to a better property once mortgage has been paid we have decided that once mortgage has gone we will buy a holiday lett at the seaside for reserving so many weeks a year for ourselves and the dogs. Hopefully the rental income should cover the bills on the Holiday place (or most of them) and then eventually sell current house and retire to the seaside. So need to get saving to pay this House off and get a deposit together for the Holiday place.
