    Excellent - well done.

Do you know who you will take your ISA out with? I think I managed to get the 3.5% at Santander which is now 3.2% and I transferred my previous ISA to them at 2.25%.

Going for the Newcastle Building Society Balance Bulider Can transfer in and get 3.4% if make 9 payments in. Had Regular saver ISA's in Previous years so I quite like them makes sure I use my allowance. Plus I'll still get instant access to my money (just incase) and can consolidate all my ISA's into one.

Wow long time since last update. So far new mortgage is going down quicker than the previous one. Savings aren't increasing at a rate I would like, but have paid for Holidays etc without taking money from any of these accounts so thats good. Not saving much on the offset as yet as due to the low mortgage rate, I've left exisiting savings where they are for now, and concentrating on trying to use up this years increased ISA allowance. I even have a savings plan to ensure it gets filled up.

Less than two weeks to Holidays so there would be any MFW activities until after we get back. When I'm going to try really really hard on cutting back on spending again. Especially when it comes to supermarket shopping.

Not going to reach targets for MFIT update 2 but hoping to get on track and catch up a little in the next few updates and be back on track by Christmas (fingers crossed).

Think we will spend a lot more time researching Holidays for next year and hopefully get the June one a lot cheaper. The accommodation for October Holiday is £295, but we are paying £610 for June, will aim to get this down to £400 for next June. Travel and food costs should hopefully remain at similar levels.

Plus hopefully won't have to purchase anything (or much new for next year).

Just another quick update, had a massive overspend this month due to Holidays, but we had a lovely time so it was worth it. My mobile phone developed a fault last week and has now been sent off for repair. It happened just before my renewal came up on my mobile contract so I have managed to reduce my tarriff by £10 per month and still got a new phone. Hubby will be getting the old one, once its repaired (fingers crossed).

He is currently on virgin pay as you go. Tops up £10 a month and gets 300 free texts (but usually uses anywhere between 50 - 150 per month, but going over 100 is rare). Plus he's paying 20p per min for calls and using up is £10 top up most months and no Internet.

Once the phone is repaired we were thinking of moving him to the £10per month 30 day sim only plan with T mobile. Where he would get 100mins 100 texts and a flexable booster which he could use for unlimted internet as he will want to use internet on my old phone and also as its a 30day contract, we can cancel after 30days if it doesn't work out.

Well some good news at last next week I will be getting a cheque for £1000 from my Dad. I was going to leave this in the offset account, but it seems that I am expected to spend this. So will be having a good think over the next few weeks on what to spend it on. In the mean time though it should be saving me a few pennies in Interest on the mortgage.

Net Balance on Mortgage is now £18,700 (£21000 Mortgage Balance less mortgage savings). I paid off the full interested credited to the account on 1 July on top of my regular payment to round the balance down to £21K. I have today recieved noticed of Interest from 11 June to 10 July which was only £47.25, this is partly due to the increased amount of money in the off set savings due to higher rate savings account finnishing. This money will be fed into Regaular saver ISA (and other savings accounts when once I've found one with a higher interest rate).

Some of the money from my Dad has already been spent (£83 on a plumber and £30 vets fees for dog 2) and it looks like approx £250 will be going on surgery for Dog 1 (wich isn't covered on insurance) initial quote for op is £185 plus medication and cone. Haven't booked this in yet but hoping to be able to book it some time this week for later in the month (its not urgent but is recommended sooner rather than later).

Barclaycard cashback is getting cut next month so will be cancelling this card, luckily already have Capital one and Egg Money for Cashback. A&L Current account will also be closed shortly.

Going to try and cut down daily spending and try and increase cash back may keep a log of spending here.

After trying for a whole week finally managed to get to speak to someone at A&L and ask them to close my account. The rate on the account has not dop and I'd rather have my bill money offset against the mortgage until it goes out. It should be closed in 7-10 days. So will be down to 2 current accounts only now.

My mind is not on my Job today. Hubby took Dog 2 to vets this morning with a sore paw unfortuantely they are keeping him in for the day and will be sedating him to have a look at it and sort the problem, could be either a swelling, an infaction or he may have something in the Paw. He'll hopefully be out later today, but think he's bottom of the list so may be quite late once he's had time to recover a little. Hope he's ok, worried about him. vets have both our mobile numbers just in case.

On the plus side at least this surgery should be covered on Insurance.
