I love looking to see how long they've had it... and if it's been sold 4+ times in the last 5 years.
I'm really nosey ....
I am exactly the same. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that does that, especially on the new build estate around here. Weird how lots that were bought about 2 years ago are now back up for sale  .
We've had lots of drops here, one being a developer that bought a rundown house on THE sought after road and has been consistently dropping - starting price was £450k and is now £359k (ourproperty shows that he paid £285k for it last September). Lowest drop (if you exclude £155k down to offers in excess of £150k, which I consider to be the same price) was £1! £300k to £299.999, I presume designed to capture people looking under 300.0 -

If the house number not listed on Rightmove, try looking on the EA's website- they're often on there even if they're not on Rightmove.

My link above is one of the cheaper flats in the block.
If folks think that postcode BN11 is expensive, have a look at BN1 & BN2!0 -
Some interesting things happening around Cambridge in the past week.
A 2-bed house has been repossessed and put on for an auction guide price of just 85k! http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-21128372.rsp?pa_n=3&tr_t=buy
There are another two 2-bed places that have been reduced a lot, firstly this one: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-17153233.rsp?pa_n=4&tr_t=buy at 110k which was originally 125k I think.
Then this one: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-16827115.rsp?pa_n=5&tr_t=buy at 115k which was originally 130k-odd.
(I don't have Property Bee at work so am remembering original prices from memory).0 -

I have been having a peruse at the houses we've been looking at to buy on rightmove (under £160k for a 3 bed semi). In the last 2-3 weeks, about 15 properties have been reduced (worked out how to use property bee now!!) between 2-7%, not massively compared to some, but they equate to £10k difference which is good for us as FTB!

Yeah, the brochure/particulars link to the EA's site sometimes has the house number - Hunters Estate Agent always include this, I don't know if they are nationwide though.SouthCoast wrote: »If folks think that postcode BN11 is expensive, have a look at BN1 & BN2!
BN1&2 are getting totally pwned, it's even worse than the Leeds city centre situation. Cuts of 3040k commonplace, nothing seems to be selling.
I read somewhere that the average wage in Brighton is actually lower than the national average, and yet they have crazily high property prices - surely this will be one of the hardest hit areas in the crash, once all the London "investors" pull out.poppy100 -

I've noticed a lot of "3 bedroom houses" on the market, people seem to dislike declaring if they are semi/terraced!
