HMV - anyone else finding delivery slow?

It's crazy, because I've always found HMV to be quicker than Play. I try to avoid ordering off Play even when they're cheaper as I've lost count of the amount of missed birthdays because of their rubbish delivery, then stupid 28 day rule! Grr, I'm annoyed now! lol x

I've always found the opposite, Play being a lot quicker than HMV.

I tested the game and found out that it's the PS2 that's screwed. Off to fleabay I go to find one that does work...

ordered complete series dr who 2 from hmv 14 days ago it still hasn't turned up have rang and e-mailed for a refund because it's gone past the date i wanted it for and have been told it would take 7 days for it to go on my account ordered dr who series 1 from play on same day and that arrived 3 days later (only ordered from different places due to no stock) definatley won't be ordering from hmv again this also happen in november and all i got was a e-mail in jan saying sorry i had trouble with my order at xmas? never ordered anything then Customer service took the attitude of well if you dont use us again that's fine when i said of my previous experience not i'm sorry for the trouble it's caused you.

I can't remember the specifics of it (I'm sure there are posts somewhere in my history about it, but can't be bothered to find them...) but I know I ordered two things from HMV once. One took ages to come.

The other one, when it came, was an XXX !!!!!! DVD. Great, but not the Smokey and the Bandit I'd ordered. I returned it and tbh completely forgot about it...until about 6 months later when Smokey arrived through the post.

Needless to say, I no longer use HMV online or instore.

I don't really care if they're "seperate businesses" or whatever - if HMV want to be associated with these cowboys, they can do without my custom.

(as a couple of asides...1 - I used to work for HMV, so am actually very fond of them as a company generally...2 - the HMV online stuff used to be really good before it was "launched" again - was best place I found for ordering 7/12" online...)
