Didn't notice that option but to be honest I have had significant problems in the past trying to cancel a magazine subscription from a credit card. Much easier through Direct Debit.

Agree entirely but you have to be spot on with the cancellation of the direct debit to prevent them from grabbing the next 6 months money off you.
:o Keep trying.........................what else is there to do? :o

I got this deal as a Virgin media customer back at the end of last year, starting from mid Jan, and I cancelled my DD as soon as the £1 had come out, BUT Im still getting the magazines delivered !!

It is a great deal-if you like the Radio Times
    :hello:
  • Thanks, just ordered Radio Times for us and Inside Soap for OH.Will make a note to cancel before issue 12, and a few weeks ahead for Inside Soap, as it says you need to write to the bank to cancel the DD.

Thanks for this tip. I buy RT every week but had been thinking that it was one of the things I should cut back on but an offer like this really helps. I don't even mind letting the subscription run afterwards as 19.99 for 26 copies is cheaper than the £26 (£1 per week) it would cost in the newsagent.

Thanks, have ordered 12 issues for London/East Anglia and worked fine. I did this deal just before xmas and cancelled my DD (online banking) about a month into the subscription. I still got another two issues on top of the 12 issues in the offer sent through the post before they wrote to me re. the DD, I just emailed them to cancel the subscription and they replied within 2 hrs confirming the cancellation.

Ordered mine, and three copies of Good Food for £1 as well. What I've done in the past is cancelled the DD when the payment has been made, and marked the calendar so I can email them to stop.

Hi, I chose the Scottish Edition but when the confirmation email arrived it said London. I have sent them an email asking it to be changed to the correct edition, nothing back yet.
