i know,...im a scatterbrain!!dont i pocess a canlender fps:)....yes but my memory does an impression of a sieve most of the time, and if it was tattooed to the inside of my eyelids, id still forget:)...someone take pity on me so i dont waste money.
or could you tell me what date to put on my calender to cancel if i have ordered today???
thank you so much.
ilgd xx

There is a credit card reminder thingy on this site somewhere that emails you to remember something - mayb ethat would help. Otherwise put it on your phone calander

Hi, thought this was a good offer for us, but I keep getting a message to say that the RTME1208 code is not valid! Is it me or what?

Hi

Just done it and it worked for me as well!! If you work through the link the reference is already quoted. You need to choose what version of RT you want then 'Go'. The reference should be in the bottom box - next to another 'Go'. Hope this helps

• This link didn't want to work for me first time round - but it worked fine when I tried again. The only worrying thing was that it still knew my card and bank details when I applied the second time! Will these have been removed now? I'm looking forward to my 8p copy of the RT - thanks for the link.

Same problem here. Maybe it's related to the earlier one. I'm in North Yorks.

Also, an alternate email address that worked for me: bbc@servicehelpline.co.uk

Will post back when I get a reply.

ETA:
Just got a reply. No explanation, just a "please call or fax your order". Well I haven't got a fax and an 0870 call costs money ;) Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

Thanks a lot for this. I buy RT every week anyway, so that's £11 saved! Superb! Thank you. :j

Thanks to help from Wendy, found the CORRECT site (the one which offers 12 copies, not the one that offers 4)
PROBLEM - on the payment section, step 2 - having completed the card detail etc, could not go further to confirm. Site reports a code error (and they were aware of it).

SOLUTION - referred to original post, used the phone - SORTED!

And (in this day and age, incredibly) NO QUEUE - so congrats to Radio Times too for their efficiency. (in passing, used 1899.com to call at 1p per minute versus 4p/min charge if using Virgin - another saving using tip from Martin, many moons ago.

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
