    Hi
I can't see the credit card option, only the direct debit... any advise?
    Thanks!

Didn't notice that option but to be honest I have had significant problems in the past trying to cancel a magazine subscription from a credit card. Much easier through Direct Debit.
If money saving starts to involve irritation or frustration the fine line between thrift and greed should be examined.

  • I'm a bit baffled. Just had my order accepted (8.45am) but I wasn't asked for any payment info, just address. It has gone through to order confirmation now. For those who have done this before, do you know if the DD info will be requested by post? Thanks.

Perhaps this deal only works for Southerners, sob, it's not fair you Londoners get all the good offers. I'll have to console myself by going into Home Bargains.

No, it works for us up North too.
I chose Scotland, but it goes to 4 issue only.
Then I typed in the original RTME1208 promo code and it resets to 12 issues for £1.

I too have tried to get the 12 weeks offer but when change to North West option it won't let me have it! Can the powers that be talk to the BBC and let them know that we all pay the licence fee?

tried that but it said it was an invalid promo code!
  • Worked for me OK for London issue. I wonder if you should canecl it before you get he 12th issue with it being a weekly magazine - they will probably take the DD a week before.
  • Thank you for telling us about this offer...it worked fine for me, asking me all the necessary details...

I did apply for this offer once before after finding a leaflet in the RT but everytime I tried it defaulted back to the offer for 4 free...

...so I'm very happy it worked this time!

    Many thanks,

    Happy saving!!!
