I found that as well but found the +44 at the front of the number confusing. Is that the actual number you dial starting with the +44?If I had known then what I know now . . .

The +44 is for when someone outside of the Uk is dialing the number. If for example you were in france and you were dialing a uk number you would dial 0044 and then the numbers (remembering to miss off the first 0 of the phone number), eg, 0044 207 123 4567Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
