The points system reminds me greatly of beenz that were around a few years ago. I collected beenz religiously each day and earned quite a bit from them. Then the number of beenz available each day reduced and people started having problems claiming their rewards until eventually they cease to exist.
On reading the thread here, I wondered if pigsback was going the same way? I do hope that is not the case.

doubt it as they are a huge success in Ireland - they are simply not prepared for their own popularity over here - someone who finds them for the first time in 6 months/a year or so will probably not have anything like the number of problems we are experiencing as they will be up and running properly by then (I hope much sooner but being realistic)
