it doesn't have an expry date on it as it is a code they send you - doesn't say anything about any expiry date. As to whether you can use it with a discounted link - yes you can but your order is likely to be cancelled by cd-wow but you can always try if you want. You CAN however go through the shop and earn link through pigsback and get 100 points (equivalent to a £1) and still use the voucher ok though. HTH :)

Sorry I don't understand. What is wrong with just taking the £8.75 off of your order? I think you are perhaps being a little hard on the offer here.
We can't arrange their scheme to be exactly what we would want - but a free CD, or £8.75 off of a DVD every few weeks, simply for answering some daft questions and clicking on a few links is really no hardship in my books!

I agree with you, you just cant please some people!

It's quite simple. If you like CDs or DVDs then the £8.75 off is a good deal - especially with the extra 100 points, worth £1-ish.

But if, like me, you'd rather spend the money on something more basic to survival, then the L2S vouchers are more useful, and I am saving them up towards something large. Or I will use them as Christmas gifts, or to buy Christmas gifts. I'm not sure whether many of our friends/relatives would like my choice of CD/DVD for Christmas!

There's nothing wrong with having a wider choice, is there?

How soon after using the link to buy something do you get points on your account? I purchased something a week or so ago, and got it delivered back end of last week, but the 100 points haven't been credited. Unfortunately my eldest son has today kindly deleted ALL of my past e-mails received for things I have bought, so I have no record of exact dates, etc - am I supposed to send pigsback a copy of the confirmation e-mail?

I have a thread on the referrers board that gives the full list of where to get the points and what to do to get them - if you haven't signed up already there is a link (refereeal and non-referral) in there to join. If you have already signed up its still got all the info you need :)

if you bought through cd-wow then the points go on within 24 hours and usually quicker. Other merchants take longer but it will tell you on the offer how long it takes for points to be added. If you are still missing your points for cd-wow then email pigsback and ask about them - you don't need a confirmation email as it will have been tracked through their system.

Given that they get money for us answering daft questions and clicking on adverts - a wider range of rewards for us making them a profit isn't too much to ask

    Agree.

Plus the thousands of clicks they must be getting every day from MSEers [desperately seeking another freebie 10-pointer...] will very significantly help their position in search engines (Google, Yahoo etc). I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't save them an absolute fortune because they don't need to invest in alternative methods to "up" their popularity in search engines.

Make no mistake - - it isn't us MSEers who are benefitting by getting the odd more or less useful voucher or fluffy pig - - it's Pigsback [and the companies they promote] making millions of profit. So let's not feel sorry for pigsback, and take what we can get :D

I recently signed up for pigsback (having read about it on this forum) and have been following the discussions on this thread with great interest.

The points system reminds me greatly of beenz that were around a few years ago. I collected beenz religiously each day and earned quite a bit from them. Then the number of beenz available each day reduced and people started having problems claiming their rewards until eventually they cease to exist.

On reading the thread here, I wondered if pigsback was going the same way? I do hope that is not the case.
