    I spoke to a guy from Telewest today and he said theyd upgrade in Bristol by the end of the month..

    Oh gotcha, yeah one of their guys came round my new flat and was talking about signing me up, I asked when theyd be upgrading as I didnt want them signing me up to a more expensive deal that would soon be upgraded and he said by the end of the month..

    As far as I know yeah. He did seem a bit misinformed about some things though,- I asked about the student pack Telewest are offering of only having to pay £5 for your broadband connection in holidays but he'd never heard of that which I though ODD, esp. considering he was targetting a student area..

    Just spoke to Telewest customer services and I was told that the free upgrades are happening throughout September. Expect upgrade no later than first week in October.

    I was warned that there are a few fake emails floating around telling you to click to upgrade, he insisted that Telewest will only inform you of the upgrade and not ask you to click. So be carefull!!!!

    Somone told me that they are working region by region, and that Birmingham WILL be done by end september!!
