booted off again...

Well I've been booted off again, a neg (from a non payer) and a neutral (from a loon) was all that was needed.

In the last 60 days I've knocked out £4700 worth of stuff, presumably earning ebay roughly £500 with the listing fees, but because someone didn't pay for a £11 item that makes me a unsafe member....

When the new feedback system comes in will anyones account last for more than a few weeks??

Another victim of the 5% non-performing seller trap...

It's a harsh risk for the high value, low volume seller - sell 10 items, and one person who may have misread the description, didn't pay but responds to a dispute, or maliciously mrks you down as you are their competitor, and stiffs you with a neg, neutral or low star rating, then it's curtains.

I've been speaking to the technical marketing team at play.com about some promotional work I may be doing for them, and they are preparing for a big push to tempt buyers and sellers away from eBay. They are currently offering the first 10 sales for free, and are looking at other ways to promote the Pro-Trader scheme.

Worth keeping an eye on - http://www.play.com/landingpage.aspx?page=playtrade&dpr=0&dpr=0&dpr=0

30 days, but given that I don't see my loons retracting their feedback, looks like it's another account down the tubes forever.

I think I'm the third one this week on this board with a similar story...

I still don't see why they can't warn you before they nuke you...

Have you been NARU'd or just restricted from Selling?
Did the NPB respond to the dispute? If not, your eligible to have it removed.

I would appeal against the decision esp if you have a £2.3k monthly turnover

Restricted, but bitter experiance tells me that I'll be narued in 30 days what ever I do.

It was a collection only item, they strung it along that long that I missed the NPB window and then they negged me.

I even offered to deliver it for free just to get it out of the way, it was only a £12 item, some people just seem to be rubbish buyers.

This months been a bit lame, only £750, the free listing day seemed to kill off buyers, I think in the last week I've only sold £20s worth.

Did about £30k in Jan, which was a surprise since I assumed it would be flat after xmas.

They managed to string you along for 45 days? :o
£30k? Are you a Powerseller with an account manager? If so give them a ring & explain things

As a private seller yes - and video games, but as a pro-trader, there are more categories available to list in - electronics, computers, phones, gadgets and clothing.

Well yes, it was such a cheap item, and they seemed genuine enough, I rung them every couple of weeks, but they were always too busy to collect...

They had really good feedback too...

My stars were never good enough, at least I assume that was the reason I never became a powerseller.
