Thanks! Must find a way of doing deep frying - guess an ordinary pan with pil would work? Lemon chicken sounds wonderful - can you bear putting it up? Hope you are tucked up in bed now though looking at the time you were posting sweet and sour!0

El, you star! The coconut jobbies sound wonderful! And I'm glad Bob made the joke... it would deffo be the elephant in the room otherwise. I might have to learn to cook, you know, if things like this and the chicken recipe are around - I could use quorn, or even butterbeans or something. Hope you got enough sleep afterwards, thats a *late* post!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

you know i think my body knew it shoulve been night shift ive done late nights almost every night this week ....
yep i imagine quorn or even tofu would be lovely ...might even try it for my vegetarian days this week ..
bob i think i have renamed them david tennants thank you ...i used to go between asteroids and bountys but david tennants gives it a sexy sounding ring to them dontcha think
now remember you might want less or more sugar and less or more vineager depending on your taste ...i have also heard of people using tomato sauce instead of puree and that tasted great for them so it really is a case of mix and match ...hubby makes it slightly different i would love to tell you all i could post exactly what he does but he doesnt even know it changes every time (he likes to experiment) but i do remember it being too sweet for me the first time ...
will try and get the other recipes up soon it's no probs if you want any more...hubby does a beautiful chicken and cashew nut yum yum ...
right well debt and spending diary not looking good on that front at all
only spent £10 on chinese and drink last night which i thought was great ...however if any of you have a renault you will know this problem
i have had my wee spanner flashing for the last wee while so i had planned on it getting a service in august even budgeted for it ...yesterday when hubby came back from son's (building yet more units think it's a flat pack house)the oil light came on and so did the service light so today i am going to have to go out and buy the things needed for a service and get a friends mechanic to do them for me as tomorrow we have decided to go to the white scar caves with our friends again, and no-one likes lynn's driving it's scary real scary...so hubby and i are driving and i want a safe car to go ...i have a kinda sneaky reason for wanting to go ...hubby has declared himself fit for work he isnt he's just bored sensless but he is determined to go back to work... now the white scar caves demand a wee bit of bending not much but enough to let him feel some aches and pains so i want to go giving the excuse it's a day out and he is going nuts sitting in all the time but really it is more a kinda medical if he can manage the day without any pains then he is fit for work ...that aint gonna happen though cause even building up units was hurting his neck like mad ... i am crafty am i not0 -

miz if you have a frying pan or even pot just put a tiny bit of oil in the bottom and sit it at an angle (so that the oil is deeper) works exactly the same and you use very little oil0 -
ok this is my third time trying to post this hope it works
well the day was expensive here's a run down
1 tyre £43.50
parts for service £25
labour for service £30
but the day doesnt end there i have to get
2 back discs £128 each
2 front discs £60 the pair
2 sets of pads £80 approx
1 sump plug £who knows
1 fuel filter £20 (approx didnt have one today )
labour
well heavens only knows that
now in the guys defence he did tell me this last time and i told hubby ...hubby said the guy was talking rubbish so today i took hubby down to the guy and he exlained what the situation was (did the guy talk) so hubby now totally agrees with the guy we need to get them done and now  ...well for todays money i had to borrow from mil and for the rest i will have to use the holiday camping fund that hubby and i have and i wont have no where near enough so will need to find some more money for it hmmm hmmm i have decided my life pattern is currently in a slump ..not to worry things will get better just no camping etc this year0 -
Ouch  I think we are all in that slump....perhaps you should make some more David Tennants, and we will have a small picnic.....
....I'll bring the corkscrew (can't afford the wine, but we can pretend!)
