You ARE getting the hang of it, but that involves continually looking at what you have and what you need, and getting the numbers to balance isn't easy.
But as long as you are looking at it and re-working it, you will get there!

Hello you, glad to see you are ok. Good news on the quidco front.
I have mooted the idea of walks and have thought about signing up for a charity walk at the great Northern run for the breast cancer charity, the links are on my thread if you want to. No worries either way..just in thought processes at the mo, as sign up is £58 and we have to raise £200 in sponsership. And we get a t shirt and fancy bra to decorate. What do you think?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Hey!! Good news on the isa money through quidco - mine is still subject to an enquiry, but the fact you have received yours gives me hope!!
Hope you are having/have had a good time at the bbq!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
will have a look at your thread when i get a wee minute bob sounds like a lot having to get sponsors for £200 when my son was at school they were lucky if they got a tenner from our whole family 200 on the other hand ....but it is all for a good cause
hypno his went straight from added to recieved i hope to get paid out this month but atleast when it's recieved it's a given (i hope)
well today i am on the housework trail again need to get cleaned up a bit more need to go to the bank too and put the pennies in to the savings account then transfer them to the other account to help bring the overdraft down every little helps...gonna get some fruit and veg shopping done as well then i'll head on out to work for 4.5 hours bah humbug ...starting to think i might just need to stay in job no2 as if the gas has went up £30 i know the electricity will be going up as well the diesel and food are a certainty... am still aiming though to give it up just having to realise i might not be able to and it isnt sitting well with me at all i can assure you0 -
well i dont know what to make of all this ..hubby's wage slip arrived and is an ok wage so i sat down and figured out the money and we will be £300 short this month so i will have to cancel some ddm's as i dont want any charges but i have paid these before and still managed to spend money on utter shoite (scuse the swearing) i cant understand it ...i just cant ...hmmm.....i dont know if it's because i am now sitting down with pen and paper going over everything down to the last penny or what... i mean i am only lifting £70 a week now no more.... usually i lift well over £100 ...saying that i dont use the visa as much were as just now i am using it alot ...i spent £16 on it today to by some fruit and veg and bread and that being the case obviously i then need to pay it when the wages come in ...it didnt help that i had those parties at the weekend ...but i feel like i am making excuses ...i supose what i am saying is HELP0
