BT are charging me on my dd £55 per month, it was 41 up until january then they changed it. the last bill on the internet (as they dont send me paper bills) was a total of £112.
i suppose what i was asking was is there any way i can move from bt but keep my bt email address as i want one of those deals where you get everything for about 20 quid a month, because even at 37 pounds a month, its a lot more than other people seem to pay
As I said earlier your reluctance to use other providers limits your oportunities to reduce your costs. To get your total telephone bills down to £20 or less would probably require you to move your broadband to Sky or Talk Talk to get the so called free broadband. In order to get Sky Broadband you would need also to be a subscriber to Sky TV service with a minimum additional cost of about £15 I think. To get Talk Talk broadband you would have to transfer your line rental to Talk Talk also. You may be able to get close to £20 by finding an alternative cheaper broadband supplier and retaining your line rental with BT and taking BTs "Unlimited Evening and Weekend Plan" which is now available free if you sign up to a 12 month rolling contract and also making daytime calls using an indirect provider such as 18185. But this involves you doing all the things you said in your first post you don't want to do. Also, as you are still in an 18 month contract you can't do that anyway for the time being. To be able to decide your options in the future you need to re-assess your preferences and produce a reasonable accurate measure of your calling pattern i.e. how many calls you make, when you make them and the type of calls you make i.e. 01, 02, 03 numbers, 0870/0871 numbers/ 0845 numbers and mobiles.
