You and me both. Except I won't be sitting on the settee all day - just when Doctors is on:D I have to face DD1's bedroom  It's DS's school cross country race today (actually just running round the playing field) but I might not make it. I wouldn't mind so much if the weather was good, but I don't think it ever has been on cross country day.
I also need to do some baking and get pizza bases ready for this evening. DD1 has swimming on a Friday and her friend comes round after school and goes with her, and the only thing I know she will eat is pizza :rotfl:
Yesterday I managed to get two school polo shirts and three school sweatshirts for DS for a grand total of £5. When children have out-grown uniform you can take it in and the school sells it off at £1 an item, so I usually have a good root around when it's on sale - saves a fortune. There never seem to be any boy's trousers though.
Right I'm giving myself a good kick up the rear and setting off to do some housework before I grow roots.0 -
I've been given permission to say this much :
Johanne had a little girl at 2.40am, weighing in at 7lb 13oz, they're calling her Sarah and both are doing great:D:D:D
Right, back to cleaning the bathroom & tidying up upstairs :rotfl::rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Morning all.
Welcome to the world Johanne's little oneSarah, a lovely name
Mudbath - hope all goes well in hospital.
Gunsandbanjos - Happy Birthday
One load of washing hanging out, cloudy but dry so far.
Polished in living room and computer desk and vacuumed through downstairs.
I got a box file yesterday and I've put all the manuals in for television etc. They were filling up a kitchen drawer and it was beginning to feel clunky, as though they were too heavy. So that's the drawer tidied out and the manuals all safely together. I've checked and there's nothing for stuff we no longer have.
Took the dog out and luckily decided to cut down on how far I planned to go, she was stumbling badly near the end and she's sleeping like a baby now (a furry, snoring baby....)
DH gone fishing today and tomorrow (camping overnight). Sounds like very little fun to me but there you go.0 -
Lil-me - I dont have a water company, i live in the middle of nowhere and our water is supplied by a well thing (not called a well tho, forgot what they call it )........... yes i know dont ask.......
Anyway still not on....starting to bug me..... still i'm gonna pop out for mine and DH's beverages for tonight......
Begger the washingYou know your getting old when yougo to the pub sit outsideand admire the hanging basket
Is officially 48% tight

Be sure you tell her that everyone here sends their love and congratulations. I believe Sarah means "princess".
So far I've changed the beds
Done some sorting in DD1's bedroom and managed to vacuum the floor :rotfl:. I haven't dusted any of the surfaces as I can't see any of them
Just put a cake in the oven - lime (don't know what it will taste like)
Made a list of major jobs which I need to tackle gradually. I'm going to set myself one of them each day next week - maybe one or two will take more than a day.
WM x 2. Two loads left (including one load of bedding)
TD x 1
Off to make the pizza bases and peel spuds for making chips. Should have all that done in about half an hour. Then I'm going to make another cake I think and get some bread dough rising.
See you later.0
