Happy Birthday G&B
Wohooooooo well done Johanne, welcome to the world little one and congratulations to all the family including Johanne's OH and Aunty Nicki!
Scared1980 welcome!
bargainbird, that's not much use is it, have you contacted the water company?
**wipes face** I've read the Rainbow Bridge poem before, it gets me everytime as I am useless when it comes to loosing pets. Of course at the minute it stands out even more because Megan is 11 soon, she's really showing her age now with her little hobbles and occasionally she falls, we didn't expect her to last this long to be honest when we got her back (nearly a year ago now!) so I suppose any longer is a bonus. Dreading the day we loose her, I think it'll hit us all very hard.
Ok, work, well so far I've got the boys ready and off to school, walked dogs with DS2 to school, done one washer load which is on the line, another is in now. Weather forecast was good for the morning here but rain on the afternoon so second load might have to go on the airers. Eaten my brekkie and that's about all so far. DP getting up at 10.30am then he's going to meet the scaffolding guys who are putting up the stagey thing for us today, there is something else important on but I can't remember what....hmmm will remember later. Eeeeek my freezer parts have just arrived, I've got to run the freezer down ASAP now, I was getting there slowly but it kept getting refilled

HAPPY BIRTHDAY G&B
I'm still here! Really trying to keep up with thread but not getting much time on here. Have been popping in for Johanne updates!!!
Got lots done yesterday - kitchen, floors downstairs swept and mopped, tea, spellings(this is a chore in itself!), packed lunches, s&s living room.
DH offshore today!!!!!!!!!! Been home 9 weeks. On one hand this is good but on the other he's starting to irritate!!!!! Bless I do love him but when you get used to them going away every 2 weeks ish, 9 weeks is a long time!
Will be back later hope everyone is ok.Need to sort my life out! :T0 -
Hurtled through the thread at speed so sorry if I have missed on anything
Thank you so much Pink Fairy that has been such a wonderful boost. I may be a bit damp eyed, but imagining Shadow lying in a patch of sun, recharging before going after slow mice has really picked me up.
Hollyh - I have two, two drawer filing cabinets instead of coffee tables next to sofa and chair. Not only can I lock away cross stitch stuff away from little bunnies but also I can watch as DS works out how to stick magnets on them. They are royal blue, through quidco and were cheaper than new tables. Hope he feels better soon.
Congratulations Joanne and wishing you all the best.
In the garden I am even more rubbish than in the house. Mind you, I've planted some strawberries and they haven't died yet.Always another chapter0 -
Well DS has totally thrown me by having an early nap. At least he'll be pleasant for our lunch out.

I'm not feeling too great today. Think I've caught everyones germs!! I'm going to sit on the settee all day, surfing and reading my new Good Food mag, drinking hot lemo and eating rich teas0 -
Morning everyone.
johanne and aunty nicki big congratulations. Lovely to see it was nice and quick in the end. Can i have some of those quick pushing vibes now please cos i am getting impatient for the end.
G and B, and CB happy birthday wishes to both of you - hope the day is fabulous for you.
holly hope DS's foot is not too sore this morning.
mudbath oh no - that is really pants. Hope the op is a success today and you are not in too much pain today.
Can't say i have managed a lot so far this morning. Not a lot needs doing to be fair, but i think what i will do is wait till DS's nap and do some stuff then, and then maybe whizz the hoover around later again too just cos it is easier while there is not much mess after a day rather than a few.
We have had a short walk up to the post box to post the ground rent cheque off, and then round the crescent to get DS out for a bit. It took us about 20 minutes, so it was a decent little toddle for him, and saved wrecking the house in that time. Other than that, i have put away last nights washing up, rinsed dishes used this morning, washed all the cat bowls.
I suppose i should let fat cat back in and feed him. Skinny cat came and ate a few scraps in his bowl and left, but fat cat would not eat the stuff from last night. My argument is the vet told us to make him lose some weight, so if he is outside he may burn some calories. Unfortunately he will also come in with all kinds of leaves and twigs stuck in his fur and make the house even more messy.
I am not even going to write myself a list for today. If i can hoover the kitchen floor and do a bit of ironing i will be happy. And if i can summon up energy, i may take DS to the baby group in the next village today as we haven't been since xmas. It would be another couple of hours to tire him out if nothing else.
Happy Friday everyone.
Michelle, x0
