Yaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!:j:j:j Great news! Last week I found I'd been charged £90 for going overdrawn, so I wrote them a letter using Martin's template letter. I wasn't sure whether the court case about bank charges was going to apply here, but it seems it is. This evening I got a phone call from the bank saying that on this occasion they would refund the money. Thank you Martin, you're a star and I could kiss you :T:A:T:A(though I'm sure he doesn't read a thread about women doing housework :rotfl::rotfl:). I'm going to make very sure we don't go over our overdraft again though. It happened during the Easter hols when I could barely get near the computer to do my accounts because DH spent all day every day on it.
The tomato bread went down well, so I'm going to make a couple more of them. I might do onion bread too.
Got to take DD1 to Guides now.0 -
:hello: amiee great to see you back, sorry to hear that you and BF have split.
Soappie those pics are great, thanks for sharing them, you have been really busy.
Mudbath damn damn and double damn about your thumbhope it improves soon
Hugs, oohs and aahs to everyone else. Have read everything but forgotten what to say to whom!
Had quite a productive day again, that's 2 in a row  Did quite a bit of ironing AND put most of it away! Being able to get to the drawers in the kids rooms helps lol When we 'found' the floor in W's room we just put everything into large carriers and I have been sorting through those a couple at a time and hallelujah we are making progress!!!!! Now need to maintain what we have done and keep chipping away at the rest.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

SSL, I'm also in Scotland. And it's funny you asked. After decideing not to bother.. we are sitting waiting to call the seller (it was her mothers house) to offer a straight out 95k and see what she says. She would go for it, but the brother is a bit greedy me thinks. If nothing else we will put in an offer of 95k to the estate agent and see whats what.

Evening all.
Mudbath that sucks about your thumb and I expect it is really hard to rest. Your back to capitals but will have to forget spaces.
Soappie you have done a fab job in the kitchen. I hate decorating so never do it.
Have done absolutely no flying today and it is not looking good for the rest of the week, oh well.
Serena I treated myself to a dahlia cutting chimborazo and some mini diascia deep pink and pale pink to grow on. My friend got me two epimediums, one pink flower and one yellow flower.
I hope your DD is getting better, are many of the others from the trip poorly?
Right tiem for an ironathon, I could be sometime. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
