And for the really curious, this is the bit I have left to do - the west wall. The window needs glossing and the walls need emulsioning so it all joins up. But as I said earlier, I shall leave that now until Friday because the gloss won't dry in time and I'm pooped. I think I shall make use of the green bottle equipment to the right of the mixer now - I feel I've earned it :D

You've all made me cry because you've been so nice about my thumb and i've not even got pms :rotfl: . I've had a total carp day and now my dd is being a little madam. I thought it was terrible 2s not nasty 9s. Her attitude stinks and I don't know what to do about it accept let her know she's not getting away with it. Apparently I gave her spaghetti bolognaise for tea because I don't like her?!?! What the ****? It was her favourite food last week. I'm putting her to bed as soon as she eaten her tea even though it's only 6 o'clock. If she's going to behave like a two year old i'll treat her like one. Oh how did I get to be so grown up (not).

    Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    xx
  • Wow Soapie I am impressed well done.

Mudbath - so sorry to hear about the thumb

I had some distressing news at the docs this morning. My BP is very high and they want me to go back in two weeks to have it checked again. Guess I really need to get on a diet and lose some weight.

On the up side tho I just got offered my first mystery shopping assignment from Optimum Contact

Sharon_1970, I feel for you! mine was high for 2 years after having DS2 and DS1. It eventually went down. Drink lots of fluid, start some light excercise and hope if they medicate you you get tablets that don't make your dreams wonky!

I still have not tidied up to any great degree..... But I got new parts for my hoover. But I am not going to hoover yet... I need to do the dishes and get the kids fed and in bed. Too used to them staying up late with the holidays but its almost school-night-bed-time!

Soappie - wow, you have been busy!!

Mudbath - oh no!! nightmare

Tia - what is the latest on the house situation?

Well, I went to have a look at the bungalow yesterday. It is small, with a huge garden and loads of potential. So I'm putting an offer in tomorrow as there is a closing date on, only 10 days after it went on the market! Basically in the Scottish system, the seller asks for offers over a certain price and the buyers make an offer. If its popular, it goes to a closing date and the buyers submit their best offer. If I dont get it, then fine. If I do  Need to get this place in the market asap!!!

Do I look like I make work for myself???

2 weeks before easter last year she refused to wear nappies during the day and yesterday she refused to wear a nappy for bed.. apparently they are for babie sand she is big. My 7.5 year old still wears a nappy for bed if that helps you any and makes you feel better about your 3 year old! I am waiting for her to decide she doesn't want a dummy any more.. I think that may be another year or 2 coming round!!

Just off to post tomorrows list.. my mother and sis were here with 3 dogs.. lucky me..
