These days, PasturesNew spends much of her time transcribing Property Ladder as it is being broadcast for MSE'ers over on the Houses board. I doubt she has time to bake bread anymore. In fact, as she seems to be on an economy drive, I suspect she will have been glad she returned it.

£60 of stuff to bake bread. Why not do it MSE style and pop down to Tesco for a 40p loaf.

To be fair, you can't compare a home made loaf with a Tesco 40p loaf. It's like comparing a sirloin steak with a value burger ;)
Here I go again on my own....

I bought a DVR from Argos, which had a recording of the Big Bang Theory on it.

Argos are terrible, i bought a new cordless house phone, found a voicemail from some bloke on it, well OH found it, i had some explaining to do.
Why don't they check these things before re-selling?? if it wasn't for the message i would never of realised it was second hand.

I worked at Argos briefly one Christmas and got the job of sorting through the returns. The store I worked at did actually check the items before sticking them back out for sale. I found an item returned which the store didn't even sell and a non-uk plug on!?
