  • I have a few things to say about all this!!
I am in a position whereby I know some of the unfortunate agents that were employed by Buy Bye Credit and also have family and friends who signed up with BBC. I was the one who regrettably recommended that they sign up!
I can completely understand your frustrations. Both BBC and Watsons have acted in the most disgraceful and unprofessional manner. I myself have called both companies on numerous occasions on the behalf of one of their clients (one of my recommendees!) because their client was becoming ill with worry. It was impossible to get through to BBC and Watson's were a joke. I used various aliases to try and get through to the elusive Andrew Watson but to no avail. After 3 days of persistent phonecalls I was promised a callback with an update and guess what? Nothing.
What needs saying and what people aren't appreciating, is that the agents were employed by BBC. They undertook a days training and took away the paperwork for clients to sign. They were shown evidence of hundreds of successful claims and were left with no doubt that this was a truly great service that they were giving for those in serious financial difficulties. All the information that the clients heard when being asked to sign up was completely true to the best of the agents' knowledge..I know that for a fact! I would NEVER have recommended anyone I know if there was a sniff that this was a con. Blame Buy Bye Credit, Blame Watsons, But give these agents a break - they were on the frontline following instructions from the cowards that have hidden away, ignoring phonecalls and for God knows what reason, left these poor agents picking up the pieces of their unprofessional mess!

The whole thing is a grubby little business playing on greed from everyone from the ones at the top to the final customers who thought they would wriggle out of paying back money they had borrowed and happily spent.
  • If you're presented with a legal way out of debt, why not take it????
Nobody ran up their credit cards thinkin ooh, one day someone will discover a loophole to get me out of this mess so there's no need to concern myself with repaying it!!

    Truly the perfect marriage..:beer::beer:

I completely support these companies, the more of these people getting ripped off the better,,,, The Rippers become the Ripped.

    Thieves stealing from thieves... :j:j

Innocent people need never fear companies like this, simply because innocent people would never consider using them. :A

Only those out to steal should be concerned. :T:T
Beware of imitations e.g. Robert Sterling

I am sorry but I do not feel sorry for these agents at all! You obviously got a commision for all this business and you should have checked out these so called successful clients before promoting such a scam! We have all been given false hope and been put in more debt than we originally had! People will lose their homes over this and children will be out on the street as this was their last hope of getting straight! I hope you sleep well at night and feel proud!!!

Who the hell do you think you are? Silver spooner!!! A lot of us have got into debt through no fault of our own, we work full time and just find it impossible to make ends meet. Before you start commenting on all our misfortunes just remember what goes around comes around and arrogant people like you will get what they deserve! Are you honestly suggesting you have never taken out any debt in your life? Be realistic, in this day and age and with this recession plenty of "innocent" people get into debt through no fault of their own and they should be able to rely on debt services, rather than get conned by them too!

That is not the case at all alot of people borrow money because they are desperate and any way out of it is a GOD SEND!!! Lucky you for being PERFECT!
  • First and foremost I was not associated with or on commission from this company in any way - I can assure you of that. I simply know several of the agents personally who used to work for BBC. I was misled and given the same false hope as you and although I had no debt of my own, I was confident enough with what I knew of this company and it's "successes" that I recommended it to friends and family.
You suggest gaining evidence of the company's successful claims..... Did you before you signed up? And regarding the agents - If you were a new employee of a company and you were shown evidence of their success, would you immediately question their integrity and legitimacy by demanding proof? With hindsight, yes of course but if you wanted to keep your job, you would not!
I think you are blinkered and have not considered that those agents signed up their OWN friends and family - people with children and homes to pay for. If you think they were knowingly conning people, why would they approach anyone they know, let alone family members!

Sorry but no sympathy, I myself have debt and have had a lot more in the past, I at no time tried to find a way out of repaying it, as I consider that if I borrow money I should do everything I can to pay back the people who lent it to me ( whether it be a friend, family or a bank) These companies just preyed on people looking for an EASY way out, and some have found that this is not always the best option. Take it on the chin, you took a gamble and lost.

By "debt services" do you really mean companies that tell you that they can work out a way that you do not have to repay the money you have borrowed (and spent)?
