My son wanted a PSP guaranteed so made the decision to pre-order one from GAME.
I was informed that we were in the 2nd phase. I was contacted by GAME yesterday and collected our PSP package today.
I’m not saying that their deal is great but this is what I managed to obtain.
1 x PSP package
3 x games [Spiderman 2/Virtual Tennis/Need For Speed]
1 x Gameware for PSP Protector Kit – Clear [Silicone Jacket/Screen Protector/Cleaning Cloth/2 x UMD Software Cases
Total cost: £274.95
Discounts:
Double Game reward points [if you pre-ordered] worth £13.70
1% cashback [Conran card – Amex not accepted] worth £2.74
Therefore total cost after discount = £257.56Do It To Them Before They Do It To You

I have tried several times to contact boots regarding the PSP pack they have on sale. The photo shows the PSP itself and another accessory pack, which is a third party one, as yet no reply. Has anyone recieved a PSP from boots £184.99, to confirm whether you get the Sony Value Pack + another 3rd party accessory pack, or just the Sony Value pack. Seems a little strange the rrp is £179.99 they have it for £184.99, if it is only the sony value pack.
and they have a non sony piece of kit next to the PSP ??

Any of you's buy a screen protector? I got some for £2.99 from Gamestation and they are 'pap'. I even followed the instructions from a Website.
Is it better to do without or get a 'better' one?

Get a better one!!!!!
I don't own one yet but I haven't heard anyone say anything positive about the screen (expect great size, clarity, etc).
Apparently the screen can be perminently scratched just by cleaning it with a soft cloth.
For the sake of a couple of quid. I know when I get one it will be the first thing i do.0 -
Dont know what kays are upto but they have canceled 2 of my recent orders for a PSP. One is starting to get cheesed off!So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable Christopher Reeve (1953-2004)0
