the HORI screen protectors (made in Japan) are supposed to be one of the best around for the PSP. I have ordered one off ebay from the far east for around £5 delivered. They have had very good reviews. I cannot stress enough not to scrimp on any old crap screen protector. Its sometimes worth paying a little bit more. After all isn't the screen one of the most important parts of your PSP!! hehe

On the subject of screen protectors, had them on my DS, hated them on the bottom touch screen, (affected the motion using the stylus especially on things like metroid demo), eventually removed them, although they were a little better on the screen you didn't need to touch.
I think overall screen protectors are a little over-rated got 2 gameboy SP's quite old without protectors, screens both perfect, they only get damaged if you treat them with no respect, and in that case screen protectors are often little use anyway. However, the screen on the PSP is more likely to suffer general damage due to it having limited casing. both the SP and the DS fold down so are pretty much self protected when not in use I suppose.0 -
WEnt into Woolies today to enquire about the PSP , and they are out of stock until Xmas now. The fella said apparantly that this has happened to all the Woolworths.
I also recieved a newsletter thing from Tesco regarding PSP, and that to 'hurry, as stocks are limited'.
So there's a bit of a rush to get in and buy one? Or is this marketing at it's cleverist?0 -

Sony could have easily gone for a Nokia fashion device with a replaceable front cover (The 'scratches' on your screen will just be on the plastic shell).
And talking of which, if Sony had spent a few more pence per unit putting on one of those packaging screen protectors we could have just left that on to protect the screen! Problem solved...0 -
Plenty of PSPs at Carphone Warehouse, Fenwick and John Lewis0

There seem to be plenty of PSPs left at Tesco too - go to the link below and click on "Where can I buy my PSP in Tesco stores?" (in the right hand column) to download an Excel spreadsheet listing PSP stock by store.
(The info was correct as of 12 on Friday 2nd September.)
