So there's a bit of a rush to get in and buy one? Or is this marketing at it's cleverist? You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

I thought it may have been. I've not ever really been in the position to buy this things (nor did I want to pay full price, and always waited for the reductions to come!), but my OH wants one. As he's being brilliant (am going to Australia without kids and himself for over 2 weeks) I thought that I would hear his wantons and indulge him for his burfday in October!!
I'm weighing it up though. Quite a bit to spend out on one thing isn't it?
What about buying one from Australia? would it be cheaper? (It's his birthday the day I get back!)
Or as an and added thought, getting one from America seeing as the dollar is good?0 -
Have posted this elsewhere, but although Argos are not by any way the cheapest, they will sell you a 3 year insurance policy for £29.95.
Don't know about you, but very rare for this kit to last 3 years in the hands of small child - so just worth considering.
BTW, never had any problem getting replacement or vouchers back from them under this scheme.0 -
Just posted in the Great PSP hunt - I have ordered online from Boots - there is a code for 1500 extra points in the discount codes forum - and it's triple points week online - so I have 3719 (£37.19) points on my advantage card to spend at Boots - They sell the value pack online only at 184.990

Do you know if Boots actually have them in-stock? Is their stock system in real-time?You'll Never Be Rich Working for Someone Else0

Boots system claims they are in stock and has always been correct when I ordered anything (e.g. PS2s last year - when they said in stock they were). You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
On the Boots website it says the triple points offer exlcudes "Boots Entertainment" - would the PSP come under this?RosWright wrote:Just posted in the Great PSP hunt - I have ordered online from Boots - there is a code for 1500 extra points in the discount codes forum - and it's triple points week online - so I have 3719 (£37.19) points on my advantage card to spend at Boots - They sell the value pack online only at 184.990
