Just got my King James Bible personally delivered, all shrink wrapped and minty fresh. Nice "Gift & Award" edition, along with some leaflets and an invite to the local church. It's about A5 in size, gold edged with leather style cover. Comes with extras, dictionary, maps, highlighted text, reading plans and such. I wanted a new bible and this is perfect, great as a gift too, or stocking filler. Best freebie in ages. Thanks to the OP. :beer:

Mine arrived a couple of days ago, in shrink wrapping. Not hand delivered though so didn't have to turn anyone away. Still, they could come back I guess. Anyway it is a beautifully bound edition.:A

Don't worry, the only reason they hand delivered it to me is because I live locally. Anyway the guy was very nice and just handed me the book, no hard sell or anything.

Just got God's Final Witness in the post, comes with a covering single page photocopied letter. A crisp new 244 page paperback edition, large double spaced text.

Dear All

I previously came across a version of the King James Bible (revised standard version (1971)) that had the following message on page iii, paragraph 6 of the PREFACE:

"Yet the King James version has grave defects" and "That these defects are so many and so serious as to call for a revision".

I trust that the recipients of the latest version of King James Bible does not have this message.
