Just got my King James Bible personally delivered, all shrink wrapped and minty fresh. Nice "Gift & Award" edition, along with some leaflets and an invite to the local church. It's about A5 in size, gold edged with leather style cover. Comes with extras, dictionary, maps, highlighted text, reading plans and such. I wanted a new bible and this is perfect, great as a gift too, or stocking filler. Best freebie in ages. Thanks to the OP. :beer:0

Mine arrived a couple of days ago, in shrink wrapping. Not hand delivered though so didn't have to turn anyone away. Still, they could come back I guess. Anyway it is a beautifully bound edition.:AThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Dear All
Weather permitting, you can pick up a free copy of a Koran along with other literature about Islam in Peterborough, outside Marks & Spencers/Woolworths on Saturday, 31 May.

To be honest non belief is a belief exactly like all the rest and like all the rest it has all the exact same human failings... in the interests of balance.
No, it isn't. This is the well-known and widely discredited proposition of the pro-religionists who know when they're on a sticky wicket argument-wise and try to make out that atheism is just another viewpoint.
The difference between the two is that 'non-belief' is based on rational thought rather than irrational leaps of faith. Therein lies a whole world of contrast. Rational thought is not a 'human failing'...

Dear All
I previously came across a version of the King James Bible (revised standard version (1971)) that had the following message on page iii, paragraph 6 of the PREFACE:
"Yet the King James version has grave defects" and "That these defects are so many and so serious as to call for a revision".
I trust that the recipients of the latest version of King James Bible does not have this message.0
