    There's a £5 activation fee though

Nah, you need a fiver in your account to apply, but it doesn't cost anything to order or activate.

Well that is what I did do in the end but it is very inconvenient. I have to send my checks to them to pay in my account and if I get any cash I can't pay it into my account as there isn't a branch, added to that when my card wasn't working a couple of weeks ago I was stuck with no way of getting any cash and when I rang up I got some foreign woman in a far away country who couldn't help.

It would be easier if RBS just gave me a card as the branch is just 10 minutes away.

Be careful with a prepaid card; a car hire company might "hold" funds on it and you'd have to have that amount available on the card for it to work.

Have you received a replacement card? That card should fix all of the problems.

P.S. you can pay-in cash to citibank account at any Lloyds TSB branch

Just to say I applied for Neteller, applied for the Prepaid card and they have now told me it will take 21 business days (Not inc weekends) and they now use GlobeWallet and not Altair, the GlobeWallet card IS NOT Chip & Pin so I don't know what to do now, and if I withdraw the funds I have put in neteller for the card they will charge me £5 to withdraw it !.

Oooh that's not good. They should have told you that before you signed.
What is the point of a card without chip and pin these days???
