looooool @ losers who buy into this prepay credit cards malarky, let me think of an analogy........why would you want to buy a datsun with a bmw badge on it juss cos you cant get a proper bmw,,,its silly and sorta defeats the purpose of a 'credit' card, if u topp it up n then use it arent u better off using ur debit card or juss takin ur cash n buying the damn thing with cash ????

i think nowadays ppl dont even realise credit cards are a fashion statement yes its cool but not when its a prepay one sorry cos its a fake....

How can you pay cash online? Also, what if someone has a debit card, like you said (Visa Electron) but the merchant does not accept solo/electron?

No, I don't think you do!

Your post comes over as ignorant of the modern world. You do know that some foreign sites (especially in the US) only accept Mastercard and proper Visa. What if a person only has Electron or Solo or perhaps even just a cash card? Are they a "loser" or a "poser" for wanting to buy online?

They certainly used to be - back in the 80s, a platinum credit card was essential for the yuppie along with a mobile phone and a porsche.

Card's free, topups are 50p, no transaction fees. £2 to withdraw at a cash machine though.

It's a proper chip and pin card, it's embossed and has a signature strip etc.

It's actually provided by Altair, but I think you have to pay for the card if you go through them. If you go through Neteller it's free.

There's a £5 activation fee though

Tuxedo via The Sun paper works for me. I think its £10 to get setup, with online account access. can also get SMS alerts for each deposit, or when balance runs low..
