Nadine, I have been with welcome. please please don't do it! taking out another loan would add fuel to your fire and escalate things back to where they were again. I had been paying welcome for 9 months whne i restructured my loan but the settlement was £300 ABOVE what i had taken out. I am fighting this with them at the moment.
There are other ways around this than to take out more finance. please don't do it. xxx
debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!

you can make the £155 pounds by doing very little i wish i could show you how easy it is to cut your food budget y 50% and still have good wholesome exciting meals and be able to show you how easy it is to do this and stil have the treats.
your doing the right thing but firstly dont panic . like everything in life "One small step for man one giant leap for mankind" every small step you make will help to make that giant step

Well done on the new job.
This weekend is prime carboot time so scour the house for stuff (we all have so much "stuff") and get out there selling tomorrow morning. You'll be starting the week feeling so much better knowing you've made a dent in the shortfall already. Outgrown clothes, toys, books, cds if it isn't nailed down and you haven't used it in the last 6 months-take it to the bootsale :) Get the kids involved too. It can end up been a fun family activity.
Check out your freezer and cupboards see what you have "in stock" and what meals you can make from what is in hand. Amazing how much we have and don't know til we look.
It's worth calling your mobile company and seeing if they can move you onto a cheaper tarriff even if you have some time to run. Costs nowt to ask.
Definitely ring Sky and find out about getting the phone and broadband packaged in with the tv.
You've done the right thing in asking for help, keep posting -it'll keep you motivated and there's always someone with another good idea along in a moment :)

yes it is i agree the easiest simplest thing to do is to take a loan and pay it off over 3 years.

But wouldnt it be more satisfying if you saved £200 a month on your food budget and put this in a savings account and being able to pay off provident in 3 months...

    easy solution 3 years
    harder solution 3 months

Which is acutally easier when you think about it

nadine08, if you had your mobile phone contract for at least 6 months, then you can down size the contract package with them, I have done that before. Also, have you tried slicethepie yet, it does not take much to get to £5 to withdraw to paypal. Every little helps to get you there...good luck!
