thanks so much for your help youve brought a tear to my eye!! i just got my baby girl and hugged her so tight she wondered what was going on!!!
i have got a new job that starts on monday, god knows how ill do it with all this going on, i feel in no fit state to start a new job!!! well i have the provident loan now so its done, will be paid in december. was thinking of taking another loan with welcome to pay the arrears and provident, anyone any experience of welcome?

    Here goes

    Mortgage 1085
    Ctax 145
    water 55
gas/elec 108 This seems high, have a look on a comparison site and change through quidco and get some cash back
sky 30 You need to get rid of or lower package, its a luxury
    broadband & phone 32
payments for his other daugther 80
    my 2 debts 35
    phone contracts 70
    house ins 11
    car ins 29
    tv lic 12
    overdraft interest 70
petrol 260 (he works a 75 mile round trip away 6 days a week)
food shop 400 get yourself over to the OS board, I think you could live on half of this a month if you food and menu plan. we live on £50 (inc petrol but don't go far) and there are 3 of us

    i think thats it

    incomings
    his 470 or 500 a week
    mine 110 a week
    cb 18 a week
    tax credits 10 a week

    total 2435
    outgoings 2422

have a done all this right, hope so!!!

something must be wrong somewhere cos on my spreadsheet it leaves us £90 a week spare each month.

You also need to start budgetting in things like, birthdays, car service, christmas etc etc. Otherwise you will find that month by month when these things occur you won't have enough to pay your bills. Join up to Quidco, when you change utilities or insurance they give you money back. Also sign up for pigsback you can do daily clicks and earn vouchers (great for giving to people for birthdays!) and get ebaying...one mans tat it another mans treasure so to speak!

hiya yes the other daughters money is maintenance, basically his son my stepson lives with us and stepdauther with her mum, when they divorced 9 years ago, it was agreed she had both kids child benefit even though my stepson lives with his dad and she had another 20 each week. i think she gets about the right amount each month with it all added up, it wall went through the courts and everything. stepdaugther is 16 in 2 years as well so i think it stops then.

  • Nadine can`t you ask you mortgage company for a payment holiday? I`ve currently got a 6 month break from paying mine so that i can chop down some of my other debts. I know that this will mean my mortgage is 6 months longer but hey if it helps me get back on track i can cope with that.

    Just been reading your SOA.

What is the £70 per month OD interest? Can you swap bank accounts as this seems quite high.

You've done well to come here now...this can be sorted as long as you stick to strict budgets and do some cutting back. You will find in the next couple of months that you will start to have more of a surplus in money and then you can start putting aside money for those one-offs like birthday and christmas. Keep at it and stay positive, I've been where you are now and im coming out the other side now
