donna - no, only if he can't sleep - I went to bed at midnight and I got up at 2 and he had fallen asleep on the sofa. He came to bed but I know what he is like and he doesn't sleep well if he's been asleep for a couple of hours first.

He never stays during the day, in a way it doesn't bother me anymore but it would be nice to do something occasionally on a Saturday - Sunday he goes to watch the local football team.

Evening everyone - hows it going? Having a nice quiet night tonight hopefully as I am absolutely exhausted for some reason.

Forgot to say - we have been awarded DLA for our son backdated to the end of December so we are going to buy him a new bed and decorate his room as he is outgrowing his cot bed. We would have been unable to do this for a while normally because our budget is so tight at the moment so really glad of this.

Thanks Gemz, unfortunately our earnings are too high for tax credits but it is something to bear in mind for the future incase I need to reduce my hours further.

Bunny - no I dont mind anyone asking. Our son was diagnosed with Autism last year - it didnt come as a big surprise but as he is so young (he only turned three in March) we were unsure of whether his behaviour was just his age (terrible twos!). We still dont know how much of his traits are age related so it is a going to be a case of wait and see.

We are completely new to this and so the past few months have been a great learning curve and each day brings new challenges but we are getting there. x x x

Hi, back from luch with BOS. Had a really good day. Tried on on some more shoes. I only tried though. They were to die for. I would stand under a red light for them. Mind you by the time i collected enough money for selling my wares they will have gone out of fashion. xxxxxxxx And BOS was sooooooo good. No chips on her meal. I fell for them. Not had them for so long so will consider them a treat. And forget the frying pan girls. I am a dab hand at building patios. Anyone need a spade insead of a frying pan.

Mmmmmmmm chips, am staying at OHs tonight and discovered a chippy just at the end of his road - my dilemma, to get chips or to not get chips.
