    bit of a shame that one of them has basicly got a first class phd, 2 years post doctoral work but is talking about jacking it in to be a shop chemist so he is able to get a perminant job somewhere he can afford to buy a house.

    I had wondered that myself. I wouldn't worry, it appears the poster has absolutely no idea of the workings of the pharmaceutical industry! I suppose they have got a problem with GPs too, and community physios, practice nurses...the list goes on.
