My OH employers started taking out student loan deductions last month when he got a bonus, was hoping that they would forget this month, but they haven't, meaning that we are about £50 down
His balance is quite small though so hopefully won't be paying it for too much longer! 0 -
They come out on Tuesday at 9pm! I am absolutely bricking it if I am honest, been getting myself very worked up about it all, need to relax a bit, but its impossible when so much is riding on it!0

Had my Tesco card statement today and the 0% period has now run out so will be paying interest from next month. I wasn't going to do a balance transfer as I figured that because it was only a small amount, the interest would be nominal and not worth the BT fee, however, seems like its gonna be around £6ish a month, so going to try and switch it onto a card which is interest free til next Feb.
Also took a big step towards paying my remaining store card off, balance is now around £140 and going to pay it all off over the next 3 months, or maybe even sooner depending on what my bonus's will be after tax. Started by paying off the £40 today.0 -
Hope you get your bonus and payrise soon you deserve it.:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0

I get my work related bonus this month, on 30th July, and my normal pay rise kicks in then too. Bonus is £630 gross and payrise is £250 (per month) gross.
I then get my exam bonus on 28th Aug, which is £1,500 gross.
I won't know what a normal wage is going to be for a few months, and then just when it settles down, its likely that my exam pass pay rise will kick in, but I don't know set details of that yet!!

I did indeed

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, we can now plan a wedding where we don't feel like we have to scrimp and save and then plan getting rid of the debts before we start a family. It feels like everything has clicked into place but I am also aware that there is still someway to go yet!0
