What about pay @ pump? does the reciept come from below as usual?
Why don't people use pay@pump anyway - it really pees me off when people go inside to pay, doesn't just about everyone have plastic these days? What's wrong with you people?
I'm with you on this. If people are paying by card then just do P@P. There is no need to go instore to pay. If people are paying by cash then fair enough.

I just realised the p@p reciepts only come out if you tell the machine you want one - which is fair enough as long as they work!
P@P receipts hardly ever work. That is the downfall with them IMO.
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

My partner has a Company car and fuel card and has to quote his mileage to the cashier so cannot pay at the pump. Also when the promotions of 5p a litre off are on you have to pay in the kiosk.

Sometinew there are reasons why peple cannot use Pay @ Pump

Stopped using Tescos. My car holds (manufactures figure) 45 ltrs. I filled up with the fuel gauge showing 1/4 tank left. I usually hold the lever until the pump 'clicks off' - which it did.

Got to till and was asked for £72.53, which equated to just over 57 ltrs! After explaining to a Manager and showing him my car handbook, he told me I had to phone Tescos Customer Services. A few days later, they called me back and said the pump could not be faulty as it had been 'calibrated' the day before I filled up - coincidence?

I was told to write in, complain and include copy of receipt and vehicle handbook. Wrote and waiting in hope.

You were probably charged for the wrong pump#, what did the pump display say the No. of litres & price were? Had you had your wits about you (and a bit of knowledge) you could have insisted that they test that pump there and then, they did this for me when I compained once. I didn't even have to ask for it to be tested they said it was policy it had to be tested if a customer complained.

A few people pointing out that people do have reasons to go inside to pay, obviously some do, but most will have no reason, so why is it that when I used to frequent petrol stations, thankfully not something I have to do anymore, most people went in to pay inside?
