Is this the worst call centre? Just tried four times to connect to someone with the slightest grasp of the English language! Why do they give them English names? Just spoken to Victor and Charlotte who are obviously from the Indian sub continent, and not their real names, and probably sitting somewhere in Dehli!
I have no gripe with them, they are trying their best. Come on Barclaycard get a grip of your customer services. I am not fooled by the English name thing either.

I have closed the account but they have some incorrect info registered on my credit reference file. I have written three times, made on call to customer services, and two emails. Each time they assure me it will corrected but guess what it hasn't. They are a bloody shambles.

I've always had terrible experience with Barclays be it the bank itself or the Barclaycard division. I now have cards with AMEX, Cap1, MBNA and HSBC. They're "good".0

Your lucky, had a similar experience, eventually got through on the 3rd Call having being cut off twice, only to explain my issues "paid off the balance in full but still charged interest" to be told we can't help you today, I asked when they could help and he didn't know. Didn't een ask for my account number or anything.
The on hold advert mentions to ask your operator about the Balance Transfer Offers available this month, which he knew nothing about.
Service has gone down hill since moving the Call Centre abroad that is for sure. Could be a case of pay it off and move to a UK supplier with UK support staff.Cheers

if they dont how much fun would it be trying to pronounce some indian names, you'd waste half the phone call trying to figure it out! even a lot of indians in the UK use english-fied nicknames to stop all the hassle of people going on about their names,Yes Your Dukeiness0
