There are a number of do this and do this, but I couldn't find anything about what the Tech Support will do and what they will ask you to do (thus you do these before hand and you save yourself a lot of hassle and time).
I dont want to turn this into a arguement, and I would greatly appreciate it if you would help wording to turn it into a general guide for all users of all technological ability to understand.
I don't mind pple PM or emailing me any problems, but these tests are in essence what I would need someone to do before I can help efficiently.
Theres enough qualified members here to know what Tech support will do or say. I think its automatically assuming that because theres no thread that no such people exist?
You'll find more benefit & efficiency just posting in the threads to help out people as opposed to a massive thread with definitions that most people wont understand. Theres plenty of users in this thread that has a good experience here, just take it as constructive criticism & use what knowledge you have to post in the threads0 -

Someone turns up with industry experience and contacts, with the knowledge to help others, and the ability to do so going way beyond anyone here (that I am aware of) and this is how he's treated? I know forums can get a bit <female doggy>, but on this occasion it would be nice if restraint had been used, I fear a valuable (yet free) rescourse may have been lost, to the detriment of the many members who don't know what a microfilter is, and even, perhaps, to those of us who like to think that we are clever.Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -

TBH Kelticfox I can see your wanting to help people but as being an ex cust rep/support tech myself, what you posted is the usual fluff that you tell people to check because,
Its usually a 7minute call turn around and the caller is usually told to do something that means that they will get off the phone ASAP, none of what you posted hardly works and if it does its probably by accident.0
