They are doing it in the belief will help 'save the planet'. People need to use their cars, sometimes you have to drive.

I can either have a 40 minute drive to work or a 2hour bus journey.
I know which one I would rather do!
I hopefully will be moving closer to work soon so should be able to get the bus from then on.

For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!

It only has a 1.3 litre engine, it must churn out so many emissions to get those 192bhp!
It's effectively a 2.6 since every combustion chamber fires once per rev which doubles the throughput.
    Happy chappy

Was expecting the worst but mine only goes up £15, not bad for something that does 23mpg :D

I get 28.1 according to the car read out thingy on the dash.

I worked this out to cost me about 15p per mile, does that sound right?

I could not get the first bust to work, do my full hours & get the last bus home. The buses start too late & stop too early.

Trying to think how that works in terms of this.

    4-Stroke-Engine.gif

    Four-stroke cycle (or Otto cycle)
    1. Intake
    2. compression
    3. power
    4. exhaust

Probably best leave the thinking to the Mazda engineers :D

    Ok found this.... Fascinating

    180px-Wankel_Cycle_anim_en.gif

The Wankel cycle. The "A" marks one of the three apexes of the rotor. The "B" marks the eccentric shaft and the white portion is the lobe of the eccentric shaft. The shaft turns three times for each rotation of the rotor around the lobe and once for each orbital revolution around the eccentric shaft.

I think it is disgraceful. Sooner labour are out of power the better, if we wanted green taxes we'd vote for the Green Party.

Green taxes that drop bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan and pay for prestige cars for MP's.
