The woman called the manager down & they both said she couldn’t have the concealer unless she bought 3 foundations  so only being young (with not much money) she agreed to buy another foundation then she was told she could only use one voucher so she chose the £5 off. She said she was made to feel like a criminal & by the time she got out of the shop she was shaking. She got home & burst into tears as she’s spent far too much money on make up which she can’t return & I feel terrible as it was me that told her what to doWhat do you think I should do? I know if it were me I would have told them to leave it but you know what these youngsters are like. She doesn't want to go to Boots again & said she will stick to Superdrug.
Vanda2 that's absolutely appauling!! You should definitely complain in the store (ask to speak to the area manager if necessary) and secondly, call CS today (01159182000) and complain. They should put you through to a senior advisor. As long as the cosmetics stay sealed, she should be able to take them back.
Hope ur daughter's doing ok now...I know what it's like to feel like a complete idiot in store for simply trying to buy something!(on the occassion it happened to me I spoke to CS who passed on my complaints and awarded me 1000pts)

I think we have quite a large age range on this site, lol!:rotfl:Just goes to show what a lovely, friendly and inclusive lot we are (even if some of us do have more wrinkles than some others...;).)
I too think it is great to have all ages on the forum ...........but it does remind me once again to think carefully about how and what I post.We adults (!!!) have a responsibility to the younger posters (especially those who are classed as children). I would not want to encourage any behaviour which may get them in to trouble.Teenagers get a bad enough press as it is .My son often gets followed around one of our major stores when he goes to buy his lunch just because he has a hoody on!0 -

Just got back from Boots, but realised that in my excitement, I forgot to use my £3 off No7 Protect and Perfect coupon! Unfortunately the shop has closed now :-(
I'm gutted :-(
I used a 250 points on skincare coupon as well, and the other items from the 3for2 were makeup, so I can't even take the P&P back and refund it and buy it again, because then I'll lose my points!!0 -
they are alongside where you would queue at the main tills in two big boxes, where they put the valentines cards before. I looked for the Bourjois tweezers yesterday, there is a space for them but none there, the pencil sharpeners are in the small Boots but i did not try to get one as i did not think they would allow it, i might try today though with the Sunday staff as they don`t take as much notice of what vouchers you are handing over.
thanks bear. are you another ipswich'er??? mum was going in today so she picked me one up! its fab, really strong and long enough handles to put on your shoulder unlike all the other bags for life and it was especially handy when i was trying to carry my son at the same time!!0 -

Who're you calling wrinkly?
With the mountain of P&P, Time Delay, scrubs, buffers and whatnot under my bed, the only wrinkles here are the lines of concentration between my eyes as I scan my voucher pile!!!
P.S. I wish.....0 -
has anyone spent 75 in baby department on .com and received the 15 voucher?? trying to decide if i should top up my order xx0

Afternoon everyone - can't believe I have just been into Boots dressed as I am.
Because it is St.Georges Day on Wednesday, we had a parade today for local Districts of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies & Guides (hope I haven't missed any). I am a leader and so had to march in my uniform. Marched passed the entrance to Boots and I swear I felt it tugging me  .
Two hours later on the way back to the car with 1 beaver and 1 cub (my DS's tho), I couldn't help myself and had to go in and look at clearance.
Managed to get one of each of the Hummingbird eyeshadows for £1.00 each :j (not to mention a few funny looks at my necker). Was worth it as been after these for a while.
I will be a very glam camper with all my Boots goodies on the next cub camp.:rotfl:0
