Hi I only know of Valk_Scot getting the spit to work with the nail varnish remover. Not 100% sure but I do think she lives in Scotland.
Hth x
Yes, I'm part of the Scotland cartel......:D
And yes I did get the nail varnish remover with a till spit. Whether though the SA over-rode it to put it though? I didn't think so at the time, but now I think she must have done without saying anything to me.Val.0 -

They told me that i shouldn't have used all the vouchers together they were all for different products including the baby one. The staff were funny with me at this point and said that they could send it all to head office and they would sort it out as to what vouchers had gone on and what had not, i said i didn't want that.
There was an instore offer if you spent 5.00 on natural toltries then you got 250 points which the till put on, i tried to use a 100 points voucher for the natural collection and they said that hadn't worked because of the 250 points. They said they were going to phone head office and tell them that i was getting double mailings and that i shouldn't be. So i waited to see what they said, they tried to take another 100 points off for the natural collection as i had given it back and got a refund, but the 100 points i don't think went on and they said they couldn't give me it back as it had been crossed out. They came back and said that cs said they were to take my card off me which they already had and to cut it up, they wouldn't tell me why and said i was to phone cs to find out, so they phoned from the store for me and eventually i got to speak to them to find out that they had sent it to the fruad deparment as i was fruandley using my card, they asked for the dates of birth on the baby club and i gave different ones to what they had, they had already send it to the fraud deparment before they asked for this information. They said that the store said i went in all the time with a fistful of coupons which i don't. So the store had reported me. They said that they would look in to my account and see whether they were going to give me my card back if they don't give my card back then i will lose all my points as they will stay on the card and they won't let me use them. I ended up taking some of the items back and getting a refund. Phoned my oh in tears, am very upset about it and don't know what to do, there is 170.00 of points of that card and i have spend money in the store. They said they will phone me tomorrow but wouldn't give me a time
omg, poor you...i think my local store is getting sus of me, ive been buying vouchers off of Ebay, as i have several friends who are single, and pregnant, im trying to help them, but the till keeps saying no, and i keep spending my points now as soon as i have them, so they cant nick them back off me. Good luck, let us know the outcome xx0 -

That sounds awful ! And one for us all to be aware of.just looked at the terms and conditions and we don't have a leg to stand on if they choose to treat us like this

- Points will usually only be added to a valid Advantage Card at the time when you buy products included in the scheme. There may be specific occasions when we add points later at our discretion.
- We are not responsible for products and services from other companies outside of Boots. These are offered according to that company's terms and conditions.
- Boots can cancel or withdraw the scheme or any individual card at any time.
- We can change the terms & conditions of the scheme. We'll always give notice of changes. We'll display notices in store and on www.boots.com. When you are logged in there is a sign about 2 inches below Martins pic that says welcome and in your case it will say welcome blue-eyes1955, about 2 inches to the right there are the words private message, you just click on here and it opens up your message box.
Sending messages:
All you do is click on the user name who posted a message on the thread, so you would click on mine and a box appears and it says several things like view public profile etc and there is one for sending a message just click on that and type away.
Than once you have sent a message and expecting a reply you then look at the private message sign ( as described before) and it will show you how many unread ones you have.

That's dreadful. What an experience for you!
But I have to ask....are the baby dates for a real baby or a virtual one? Because if it's the second and you were using mailing coupons you obtained from this "baby" then unfortunately this is fraud, technically, and also you'll have breached the T&C of holding an AC I would suspect. And thus they're almost undoubtably entitled to suspend it, including all the points.
If you've been getting mailings perfectly legitimately, then I do apologise for the above. In this case fight them down to the wire to get your points back! Using vouchers from your kossher mailings, mags, the ACM using your own card and manufacturers is perfectly legitimate, after all. But if you've been doing otherwise, remember the old saying of "If you're in a hole, stop digging." You don't want them to be handing all this over to their legal advisors.Val.0 -
