As I am not flooded with eager customers. thought I'd have a skive and potter about here for a while.
This is something we didn't have during the last crash. The ability to watch an auction whilst at work.
All this information does make the situation different this time.
I am almost in info overload at the moment.
Yes last time you were limited to 2 lines on the 6 o'clock news and maybe a couple of columns in your newspaper the next day. Easy to overlook.

These days, with all this 24/7 media coverage, the Internet, the ability to discuss anything on forums online with others who have the same or differing viewpoints and experiences is amazing!

Although, even so, there are STILL people who should know better not realising what's going on.

Good thinking Batman.... to store up rice, beans and fresh water for the recession.

Couple of big shelves on the walls to sleep on.

Looks like realistic reserves aren't being set at the moment. That's what I perceive happened with the auction last week.

I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

Lots of denial around still. Except nowadays it's called 'positive thinking'.

The difficult bit is sifting through it all and then matching it up to ones own circumstances.....but I'm getting there.

Should do a thread really but there are some scary posters around at the moment.....oh! Not that I'm a scaredy cat or anything.......just trying to keep life simple.

Could be made into lovely apartments though fc123...

We went to look around some apartments in an old shoe factory up here in Stafford and they were REALLY nice... had video entry phone, hardwired for i-net and sound all round... far too expensive for my liking though.

Some development going on there. Whole row is up for sale. About 4-5 houses all the same in a row.
